March of Dimes Fundraiser ❘ Outer Banks Event Photographer

Thursday, April 22nd, 2010

This past Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing a little bit of the March of Dimes BBQ Fundraiser sponsored by Team Forever Hope. I was also happy to participate in their raffle by donating a family portrait session, and a big CONGRATS to the winner (you know who you are).

The “family” has added a new puppy to the mix. Happy will become my grandfather’s puppy after she’s all trained, although I’m not sure how we’ll all give her up. :) She spends most of her time at my parent’s house, but comes to hang out with me and Duchess during the day. Nothing like editing with a sweet little puppy sleeping on your lap.

Meet “Happy”….

Every kid’s dream – a snuggly puppy!

And because it’s only fair that I join in, here’s Happy working with me first thing in the morning (before I’ve even had a cup of coffee and still in PJ’s…..SCARY!)

The Farm ❘ Outer Banks Portrait Photographer

Today I had a fun afternoon with these three little cuties working on a session for a special project coming up! We went in search of some shade for our early afternoon session, met some HUGE chickens, and kept a Rooster away. Now I need a nap. :)

To see more of these (not so tiny) dancers…make sure to visit the Courtney Hathaway Photography Facebook Page and become a fan! :)

Baby Fisher ❘ Outer Banks Portrait Photographer

Saturday, April 10th, 2010

This week I had the pleasure of visiting Amy and Jamie – and their first little one, Fisher. His name is only fitting as they both come from families heavily tied to the boating and marine industry. To quote Amy, “What other name would we go with?”. I love it!! Little Fisher may look peaceful now, but I assure you, with 8 cousins (just in Amy’s immediately family) and another cousin on the way it won’t be too much longer before he’s passed around at family events. Congrats Amy & Jamie!!!

And probably my favorite image of the day…..
